Kenneth Brian Associates are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team based in Chessington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. A crucial part of the role involves filing and submitting financial documents to regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- File and submit tax returns, VAT, and other statutory financial reports within set deadlines.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
