Responsibilities include:• To maintain and develop the business with existing and new customers• To use selling techniques to overcome objections and negotiate prices ensuring that company guidelines are met• To work towards and achieve individual and company sales targets• To plan and organise outbound call schedule and ensure that calls are made in accordance with agreed schedules• To accept incoming calls in accordance with identified service levels• To understand and develop product knowledge, monitor and report on activities, and to provide relevant management information to the product buying teams• To offer appropriate alternative products as required• To increase customer order value by offering additional products and special offers• Input orders received by fax and up-sell on those orders

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:• Previous experience within a customer service or sales team• Good interpersonal and communication skills• Flexible• Have the ability to build excellent relationships – both internal and external customers• Ability to work well under pressure• IT literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Email• Good organisational skills
