Role responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering a seamless customer journey, from initial enquiry to project handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting precise measurements at client properties for bespoke projects
- Providing tailored advice and recommendations on products to meet client needs
- Preparing detailed and accurate quotes
- Following up with customers post-quotation to address queries and secure sales
- Handling customer enquiries via email and in person, ensuring a high standard of service
- Collaborating with the Branch Manager and Installation teams for smooth project handovers
- Keeping meticulous records of site visits, customer interactions, and sales opportunities
Skills and experience required
Essential:
- A valid, clean driving licence (due to regular travel to client sites)
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong customer focus
- Exceptional attention to detail and practical measurement skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT systems
Desirable:
- Background in home improvements, construction, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
