Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well established and very successful company, based in Chessington, who are looking for a temp to join their Customer Service team. This will be an ongoing temporary assignment, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right person.

The team is made up of a number of long-standing employees, as well as some newer recruits, and they are responsible for handling all incoming customer enquiries, on the phone, via email and webchat. They also manage administrative tasks, update customer accounts, and deal with correspondence.

Specific responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Answering telephone calls in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that the customer’s query is resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Responding to customer queries via email and webchat, ensuring a high level of professional communication is maintained
  • Processing customer orders and payments
  • Inputting payments into the system
  • Raising awareness of any customer issues to management

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a customer focused role
  • Experience of handling customer queries on the phone and via email and/or webchat
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems
  • Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative

This role is fully office based, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

The company offer an hourly rate equivalent to a salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience.
