Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Salary:46,000

About the Role:

I am seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join my clients team, to be based at a site in Chessington. In this role, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across this large office building. You will spend a mixture of your day focusing on leadership duties, with the flexibility to assist with hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  • Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Driving licence is desired, not essential
