Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Food ManufacturingEpsom, Surrey | £50,000 per annum4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturer in Epsom. This role is perfect for an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a background in manufacturing maintenance, looking to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on packaging machinery, PLC-controlled systems, and sealing equipment
  • Utilise CMMS and handheld technology to log maintenance activities and track asset performance
  • Work alongside the maintenance planning team to ensure servicing schedules are completed on time
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards across all maintenance activities
  • Provide insights and feedback to enhance maintenance processes and asset management strategies
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and improvement projects
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment upgrades

What We’re Looking For:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Engineer in an FMCG environment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working with automated production equipment
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems
