An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturer in Epsom. This role is perfect for an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a background in manufacturing maintenance, looking to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance
- Diagnose and resolve faults on packaging machinery, PLC-controlled systems, and sealing equipment
- Utilise CMMS and handheld technology to log maintenance activities and track asset performance
- Work alongside the maintenance planning team to ensure servicing schedules are completed on time
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards across all maintenance activities
- Provide insights and feedback to enhance maintenance processes and asset management strategies
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and improvement projects
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment upgrades
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineer in an FMCG environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working with automated production equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS systems
