Deputy Hygiene Manager – Food Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Hygiene Manager to play a key role in maintaining and improving hygiene standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to uphold and enhance site hygiene standards.
- Maintain and update cleaning schedules, CICs, and training records.
- Train and develop hygiene teams, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
- Monitor and improve hygiene processes, reducing cleaning times where possible.
- Support audits, cleaning validation, and hygiene management system updates.
- Manage hygiene stock, equipment, and liaise with external service providers.
- Ensure documentation and site hygiene standards are always audit-ready.
- Deputize for the Hygiene Manager and take on leadership responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or Team Leader in food manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and achieve key KPIs.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
- Food Safety Level 3
- HACCP Level 3
