Reed HR are currently recruiting for a Regional HR & Payroll Team Manager to join our client on a permanent basis.

The role:

This is a home-based role with travel, looking after the service centres Croydon, Chessington, Exeter and Swansea so you will need to be a driver for this role - company car is provided. 

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 7 direct reports and ensuring the efficient operations for a part of the HRSS team.

The role involves utilising systems such as Workday, Promark, and Service Now.

You will manage the end-to-end time and attendance system including managing access rights for all users ensuring that coordinators remain compliant and act within all legislations including GDPR.

Hours: 37.5 Monday to FridayReports To: Head of Payroll & HR ServicesDepartment: HR Shared Services

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures for shared services, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Continuously monitor and improve process efficiency, identifying areas for enhancements. 
  • Collaborate and work closely with the other Regional Managers to ensure consistency across the business.
  • Manage the established SLAs, ensuring clear expectations regarding service delivery timelines.
  • Regularly review SLA performance, address any deviations or issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 7 individuals across different sites who will be supporting circa 1500 across those sites. Provide ongoing feedback and promote a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and personal growth.
  • Support change initiatives within the coordinators. Effectively communicate changes to impacted team members. Supporting with operations project and requests.
  • Support with the training of policies and processes to ensure that compliance standards across the coordinators is up the date. Complete audits of each site to include new starters, leavers and payments raised. 
  • Take a lead role in the implementation of annual salary increases ensuring that all communication and instructions are clear and concise. Provide support to payroll and the rest of HRSS team when required.

Essential

  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Good numeric and keyboard skills
  • Excellent communication skills, to support with sensitive and critical personnel conversations
  • Proficient in MO365 tools, particularly strong Excel skills, Share point and Onedrive
  • Driver with UK license
