This is a full-time on-site role for an HIU Engineer at Evinox in Greater London. The HIU Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining heat interface units, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting system inspections, and ensuring optimal performance of heat networks. Additionally, the HIU Engineer will collaborate with project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of heat network solutions.
Key Skills Required:
- Be able to use all tools to perform the role, including electrical testing equipment.
- Know the fundamentals and basics of a heat network.
- Have experience in working in domestic environments.
- Be able to prioritise work effectively.
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be able to take ownership of problems and actively resolve them.
- Can remain calm under pressure.
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
As a HIU Engineer, you will perform:
- Service and Maintenance
- Fault Finding
- Commissioning
- Call-out
- Carry out installation works
- Produce clear and detailed reports on works carried out.
You must have:
- A driving licence.
- Experience with working on HIUs or similar products.
- Plumbing or electrical experience
