Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Join our dynamic and growing distribution business based in the Chessington. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to lead our operations team and drive efficiency across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of our distribution centre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Manage a team of supervisors and operatives, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
- Implement and optimize processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance throughout the facility.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management and timely fulfilment of orders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and customer service, to meet business objectives.
- Analyse operational data and provide regular reports to senior management.
Required Skillset:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager within the distribution or logistics sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for process improvement.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and distribution center operations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
