Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Working hours: Full time

Daily rate: £34 - £42.29p/h Umbrella

Location: Chessington

Our Private Client in Chessington are recruiting a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for their team on a temporary basis initially.

The team supports Early Years children, mainstream and special schools, assisting children and young people with significant functional difficulties in self-care, school-related tasks (e.g., using tools and equipment), mobility, and posture. These challenges arise from complex, severe, or enduring physical or developmental conditions that significantly impact their ability to achieve their potential in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry a specialist caseload of children and young people with a variety of complex physical, learning and social needs and be responsible for writing reports for EHCP and MDT assessments/reviews.
  • Work in a range of settings as an autonomous practitioner, providing high quality paediatric occupational therapy to support children and young people with disabilities to achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the supervision of students on clinical placement and support workers who are working with children and young people on your caseload.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma level qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
