PURCHASING & PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
MONDAY - FRIDAY:
£32,000 - £35,000 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are actively recruiting for a driven and experienced Purchasing and Production Supervisor in Chessington.
This is a full-time and permanent position with a fantastic client within the manufacturing and production industry.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in a production environment and have experience in Purchasing and Stock Control

Day to Day Duties
As a Purchasing and Production Supervisor your duties will include:
- Control and monitoring all manufacturing purchasing. This includes reporting supplier performance to the Operations Manager
- Liaising directly with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on the required dates and confirmations have been received at best price
- Maintain required stock levels by monitoring historical trends and setting minimum/maximum stock levels
- Booking in all deliveries onto the system
- Liaising directly with operational employees/suppliers to resolve any issues with deliveries received
- Induct temporary staff to the required Health and Safety requirements
- Works very closely with the Production Manager
- Material Issuing on the system
- Production planning
- Problem solving
- People management and monitoring staff performance against objectives, training and safe systems of work
- Initiates action to address shortfalls
Essential Skills
As a Purchasing and Production Supervisor it is essential that you:
- Have strong buying/purchasing experience within a manufacturing setting
- Have worked within production and manufacturing
- Comfortable with stock control procedure
- Clear and effective communication, both verbally and written
Desirable Experience
- Available to start as soon as possible.
