Logistics Coordinator
Our client is looking for an organised Logistics Coordinator to manage order tracking, supplier coordination, and deliveries. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovating, growing business with a great culture.
路 Based in Chessington路 Up to 拢30,000 (DOE)路 25 days + bank holidays 路 Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm 路 Car parking
Job specification:路 Provide administrative support to the logistics team using the company鈥檚 software system.路 Manage emails and phone calls, responding promptly and appropriately.路 Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions.路 Distribute relevant correspondence as needed.路 Coordinate with overseas suppliers to maintain efficient communication.路 Track and monitor orders, keeping the logistics team leader informed of progress.路 Conduct weekly stock updates in the warehouse and generate necessary purchase orders.路 Prepare customer quotes and ensure invoices are issued based on these quotes, ensuring goods are ready for dispatch.路 Process internal credit notes.路 Collaborate with the sales and technical teams for seamless operations.路 Create and process intercompany orders and invoices.路 Communicate with overseas factories to ensure stock is ordered and production is on schedule.路 Update systems with current pricing information.路 Monitor and track units shipped from overseas and ensure timely delivery to clients.路 Perform daily transport-related duties.路 Communicate with the sales team regarding upcoming projects.路 Liaise with the production team and third-party carriers to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines.
Person specification:路 Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).路 Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.路 Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.路 Experience with export customs documentation and forklifts.路 Analytical skills for evaluating sales data.路 Knowledge of sales operations and logistics processes.路 Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic setting.路 Proficient in MS Office, adaptable to learning new software.路 Experience in sales or customer service preferred.路 Relevant qualifications in sales or logistics are a plus.
