Tradewind recruitment are currently working with an Outstanding specialist school located in the picturesque borough of Kingston. Located closest to Chessington station. The school are recruiting for a Speech & Language therapy assistant position. While qualifications in Speech & language therapy are not necessary, an interest in becoming a Speech & Language Therapist would be advantageous.

About the school:- Extremely welcoming, supportive and understanding management team- Situated in the picturesque borough of Kingston, beautiful grounds and a school farm on site- Competitive daily rate of £90-£105 dependant on candidate's experienceAbout the pupils:- Pupils aged 9-19 years old- All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)- Mild to moderate learning needs

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Hold previous experience teaching in the UK
  • Hold previous experience working with students who have Special Education Needs
  • Enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
