This position has arisen due to promotion and is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant. Due to the scope and opportunity within the role; our client will consider either a first time mover from practice or someone making their second industry move for this Financial Accountant position. The RoleThe Financial Accountant's duties will include:

Performance of the procedures required for the month end (6 working days)
Core accounting procedures and journal processing
Balance sheet reconciliations
VAT Return preparations and co-ordination with the external corporation tax team
Principal contact for the external audit
Reviewing business performance and drive for continuous improvement
Preparation and review of rebates
Assisting the financial controller with necessary projects and report preparation

The PersonThe requirements for the Financial Accountant role are:

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Straight from practice or a second time mover will be considered
Ability to work to tight deadline
A team player who has the ability to work with staff at different levels
Curious and ambitious approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and confidently at a senior level
Excellent excel proficiency and ability to analyse large volumes of data
