Job Description:

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Engineering Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, technical excellence, and workflow coordination across design, engineering, and manufacturing processes. As a Structural Engineer, you will lead structural validation, uphold compliance standards, and contribute to innovative solutions for masonry support, wind posts, and structural reinforcements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural designs, calculations, and analyses for wind posts, masonry support, and other structural elements.
  • Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and building regulations.
  • Utilize FEA and structural software to optimize designs.
  • Manage multiple projects, overseeing engineering deliverables from concept to execution.
  • Work closely with Technicians to translate engineering specifications into constructible components.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and compliance excellence.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Produce technical reports, design documentation, and structural drawings.

Skills & Experience:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, MEng, or equivalent).
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards IStructE/ICE chartered status.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in structural engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes, British Standards, and modern construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, TEDDS, and structural analysis software.
  • Hands-on experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and load calculations.
