Role Overview

This is a newly created role which is pivotal to the success of the business. The role requires a detailed, focused individual who has the goals and mission of the organisation at the heart of everything they do.

The role will report to the Employment and Skills Director, but will interact with managers and staff across the whole organisation and will create reports on the area of responsibility for both Senior Management and Governance meetings.

DUTIES

  • To work with line managers and Senior Management Team on all HR matters
  • To maintain an awareness of current employment legislation and advise line managers accordingly
  • Responsibility for writing and updating of company policies and procedures
  • Ensure all monthly one to one staff meetings are carried out by line managers
  • Take responsibility for all staff recruitment, ensuring safer recruitment practices are followed
  • Responsibility for premises/facilities
  • Induction of new staff members
  • Responsibility for overseeing holiday requests and approvals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Ideally CIPD qualified and/or considerable relative experience
  • Operated within a standalone HR/Corporate Services role
  • Strong HR generalist background
  • Track record of delivering employee engagement initiatives
  • Ability to drive results
  • Safer recruitment experience
  • Creative thinker who is detail oriented
  • Ability to run a number of projects and deliver on time
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Experience of handling disciplinary meetings
  • Proactive and innovative HR Professional with a clear understanding of how to drive ig performance through people
  • Ability to see the bigger picture while being aware of the commercial requirements of the organisation
  • Exceptional management skills
  • Tenacious attitude to achieving targets and organisational goals
  • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate
  • Willingness to travel to other Castleview Group sites if required
  • Subject to a basic DBS check
