Position: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Deeside
Pay: £30,000
I am working with a SME Manufacturing business in Deeside who are looking for a Assistant Management Accountant to join the manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
- Conduct production reporting, including various variance analyses.
- Manage product costing and stock reporting.
- Provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
- Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
- Perform financial analysis of departmental spending.
- Oversee month-end reporting.
Qualifications:
- AAT with experience in SMEs or manufacturing.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
- Proficient in Excel, with experience working with large datasets.
- Ambitious and driven, with a desire to grow with the business and take on increased responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
