Audit Manager

Audit Manager required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in the Chester area. Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Audit Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team.

• Plan and carry out audit assignments to a wide variety of clients
• Ensure the audit team are on track and completing audit work within the allocated timetable
• Communicate to the clients on a regular basis on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit related matters
• Advice clients on areas of business improvements
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge in all areas
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and receipt

• Suitable candidates will be fully ACCA/ACA qualified
• Experience carrying out audits - from planning through to completion
• Previous experience working in accountancy practice environments is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• No requirement for visa sponsorship
• Driving license required in order to travel to clients' premises

This is an office-based role, so suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the Chester area.

• £55,000-£60,000 basic salary (dependant on experience
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
• 5 hours per week - flexibility on start and finish time
