My client are a well established manufacturing business in Chester, they have a global presence & are US owned.

Description

  • Leading finance team, tax, treasury, regulatory reporting activities
  • Accurate close activities and reporting
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and a broad technical understanding
  • Leading internal and external audit processes
  • Overview of all tax activities, including indirect and direct taxes
  • Lead all treasury management
  • Statutory accounts process
  • Plant accounting: handle all product costing and inventory, with the ability to manage and oversee it effectively
  • Someone who can get into the details and is capable of doing so if needed
  • Motivated, ambitious, and has had exposure to all relevant areas

Profile

  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong technical experience, ideally big 4 or top 6 trained
  • 4-6 years industry experience, ideally within manufacturing
  • US GAAP experience or experience working within a US owned business would be desirable
  • Strong team leader & mentor
