Role OverviewThis is a valuable opportunity for a skilled Business Controller / Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information while working on both recurring tasks and project-based initiatives to improve and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across business units.
- Collaborate with operational managers to propose improvement projects, validate financial data, and support decision-making.
- Provide timely and insightful financial reporting, ensuring visibility of performance and early risk identification.
- Challenge operational performance and recommend financial improvement measures.
- Assess business cases for operational investments and improvement projects.
- Manage financial controlling activities, including Recurring Costs, Inventory, Non-Recurring Costs, and Capex Jigs / Tools.
Skills and Experience
- CIMA qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
- Proficiency in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Working Pattern and Travel
- Standard 35-hour workweek
- Occasional UK travel may be required.
