Semi Senior Accountant Role Overview

As the Semir Senior Accountant you support the team, in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of their organisation.

Semi Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Compiling personal tax computations and returns
  • Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services
  • Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients
  • Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Addressing client queries with HMRC

Semi Senior Accountant Experience Required

  • Previous experience working in an accountancy firm.
  • AAT or ACCA qualification preferred, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
