As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, ensuring clients receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Addressing client queries with HMRC
• Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Compiling personal tax computations and returns
• Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client accounting records
• Preparing annual accounts and corporation tax returns

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles (preferred)
• AAT or ACCA qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information

• £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
