Accounts Assistant Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join this reputable business based in Chester. This role would be ideal for a candidate with all round experience in accounts, purchase & sales ledger. As the Accounts Assistant you will be reporting into the Finance Manager

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

Answering purchase/sales ledger queries
Reconciling supplier statements and payments
Reconciling bank balances
Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.)
Prepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliations
Intercompany journals and recharges
Allocation of expenses and credit cards

Accounts Assistant Experience Required

Have experience in a similar role
Be AAT qualified or studying towards
Experience working in an SME would be desirable
Have strong interpersonal skills
