  • To be knowledgeable of Safeguarding Adults and Children agenda, with specific knowledge of the Domestic Abuse agendas including Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, PREVENT, modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • To provide specialist advice and support to all Trust staff on a day-to-day basis with the support of the clinical nurse specialists relating to the Safeguarding Adults agenda, whilst managing the reputation of the Trust.
  • To demonstrate wider knowledge of Safeguarding adults, supporting and providing cover for Adult Safeguarding Nurse Specialists in their absence.
  • To identify learning needs for CWP staff/services and participate in developing or to deliver training appropriate teaching packages.
  • To deputise for the Safeguarding Adult Nurse Specialists during absence.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Fully enhanced valid DBS
  • Must have nursing or social work qualification.   
  • A minimum of 12 months post qualification experience is desired.
  • Ability to travel across Cheshire & Wirral Partnership footprint.
