Pricing Analyst Overview

NC Associates are working with a market leading healthcare provider based in Chester to help recruit a Pricing Analyst to help support the senior management team in providing pricing and relevant data to help support the growth of the business. As a Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for analysing market trends, evaluating and producing pricing strategies, and providing insights that support our commercial objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance pricing models and drive profitability.

Pricing Analyst Duties

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify pricing trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights and recommendations for pricing strategies.
  • Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing models and strategies that align with business goals and market conditions and deliver transparent pricing to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on weekly revenue and profit, pricing performance, market trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in pricing strategies and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness to support the overall profitability of the business.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyse customer feedback to inform pricing decisions and enhance customer satisfaction.

Pricing Analyst Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; desirable but not essential
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing strategy, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
