Quality Conformance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened within our clients Quality and Industrial Projects team in Broughton. This role offers the chance to develop skills and experience in Project Management, APQP application, Quality standards, Industrial System Development, and Operational Quality Management. You will lead and resolve complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting measurement standards and facilitating improvements to enhance process performance, product adherence to standards, and process reliability and repeatability. You will also focus on prevention, surveillance, inspection, solving, and adherence activities.

Missions: You will ensure full quality industrialization of Major Mods, STEP Mods, Incremental Developments, Full Developments, and Major Industrial Transfers to enable serial manufacture at current and rate ramp-up operating levels. You will prioritize Production Organisation Approvals (POA) activities to maintain a high level of Product Safety and provide quality input into all reviews, including risk, multi-function, planning, and stakeholder reviews.

Tasks & Accountabilities: You will apply and deploy APQP and Quality Standards, support and facilitate FMEA in Design, Process, and Machine, and create and update Control Plans (CPs) to incorporate modifications. You will also plan and execute Production Process Verification (PPV) to validate routings, lead Cost of Non-Quality forecasting and support mitigation activities, provide lineside support for local test campaigns and HoV manufacturing during SoP phases, support KC and CTI cascades from Design and Manufacturing Engineering functions, and support APQP activities including Decision Trees, Applicability Matrix, and Key Business Deliverable assessments as both deliverable owner and assessor.
