Proactive Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated HGV DRIVERS to join our reputable team in the transport and logistics sector. As a HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in safely transporting goods over long distances while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in commercial driving and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
**Duties:**
- Safely operate various trucks for the transportation of goods
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
**Skills:**
- Possession of a valid C+E / CLASS 1 LICENCE
- Experience in General/tipper/fridges/flatbed desirable but not essential.
- Proficient in navigating different routes and locations for deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
