This is an exciting opportunity, working for a well-established company based on the outskirts of Chester. As Account Manager you will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.

As a business development account manager, you will work both on your own and as part of a small sales team contacting existing and prospective clients, with the primary objective of gaining referrals and new business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and forge relationships with contacts at all levels
  • Creation and management of your own sales pipeline, to be regularly reported on to the sales management.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Develop targeted strategies bespoke to individual agencies.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral targeted at prospective clients.
  • Preparation of commercial proposals.
  • Expand network of contacts to ensure market and commercial awareness.
  • Oversee the onboarding process with new agencies.
  • Be organised in the maintaining of accurate sales notes and plans.
  • Keep up to date with all developments within the recruitment services industry, compliance and general taxation legislation that relate to the operating processes
  • Work collaboratively with external Account Directors in order to ensure messaging and strategy is aligned throughout the team.

Skills, knowledge, and experience required:

  • The successful candidate will show a hunger and determination to succeed and will have a keen understanding of the industry
  • Experience within recruitment sector is required
  • Ability to manage all aspects of developing existing and new accounts: prospecting, third-party relationship management and deal closing
