European Channel Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced European Channel Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, developing, and supporting our European distributor and partner network. Your efforts will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across the region. This position requires strong project management abilities, sales expertise, and a passion for achieving ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frequent Travel: You will be required to travel across Europe on a weekly basis to meet with dealers and distributors, ensuring the effective development and support of our sales network. Your presence will be essential in building long-term partnerships and expanding our market reach.
  • Project Management: You will take ownership of the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects related to distributor network expansion. This includes overseeing all ongoing activities to ensure they are on track and aligned with company objectives.
  • Distributor Network Development: You will identify and establish relationships with potential dealers throughout Europe, helping them market and sell our products. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will provide guidance, support, and training to distributors, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote and grow our brand.
  • Account Management: You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with key accounts, ensuring that their needs are met and that they have the tools and knowledge to succeed. You will also work closely with them to develop customized sales strategies that align with our company goals.
  • Independent Decision-Making: You will be expected to work autonomously, making strategic decisions to drive sales growth. You will prioritise tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure steady progress toward achieving set objectives.
  • Sales Growth & Strategy: You will play a crucial role in increasing the company’s sales, with a target of growing sales from the current €1.5 million to €3 million. This will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering long-term relationships with existing and new partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and project management, particularly in an international or multi-channel distribution environment within Pump or Valve, Fluid Technology or Industrial FMCG
  • Language: English and German or Italian, French, or Spanish
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with distributors and key accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of developing and managing distributor networks, with a track record of success in growing sales channels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe to engage with partners and support their development.
  • A results-driven, goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional European languages (such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian) would be highly advantageous.
