About the Energy Assessor Role:
As an Energy Assessor, you will be instrumental in delivering accurate assessments and reports, including sustainability and energy statements, as well as embodied carbon and life cycle analysis (LCA). Your responsibilities will include producing EPCs, coordinating BREEAM assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing client enquiries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and manage junior team members.
Requirements for this Energy Assessor role include:
- Ideally, OCDEA certified (or experience with SAP Assessments and working towards certification).
- A relevant professional qualification (IEMA, CIBSE, LCC, or similar) or working towards one.
- Experience in energy assessment and performance evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
- Proficiency with energy modelling software (e.g., IES-VE, Elmhurst Design SAP).
- Familiarity with OneClick LCA.
