Your new companyMy client, a large family-run construction company, is looking for full-time temporary administrative assistance for one of their local projects, with an estimated end date of April 2025.Your new roleYour role will have you managing the site administration across different departments such as health & safety and procurement, ensuring that contractors are inducted to the site correctly and without incident. You will be responsible for PPE, ensuring all new staff meet the requirements to start. A large part of your role will be Document Control; as such, you will be managing all subcontractor forms, certifications and cards, ensuring they are current and submitted and filed accurately. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Capture all visitors.
  • Capture all deliveries
  • Produce a daily report containing day by day subcontractor attendees and hours worked.
  • Raising material and plant requisitions.
  • Clearing missing tickets
  • Material and Plant goods receivable notices
  • Arranging collection for off-hire equipment/plant and manually off hiring
  • Monthly stationery/office supply orders.
  • Following up with procurement/supplier regarding outstanding requisitions or PO's
  • Tracking plant report and communicating with site and procurement if changes have not been updated on tracker.

What you'll need to succeedExperience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desirable.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping and data management.
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage issues as they arise
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
