Training and Competence Lead| Chester | up to £45,000 | 

A large train manufacturing company is seeking a Training and Competence Lead to join their team and support the technical training of both the rail company and client staff and to be responsible for their safety critical assessment.


Key responsibilities:
- Ensure effective systems are in place to manage training and competence across all locations
- Co-ordinate and support the planning of training and recertification of staff
- Analyse, forecast plan and monitor the competency management activities and feedback to Operations Managers/Head of Compliance.
- Help in the development of e-training and assessment documentation

Candidate Essentials:
Experience of developing and delivering training within an engineering/industrial background
UK Drivers license

Qualifications:
A1 Assessor / Train the Trainer / Cava (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement)

Desirable:
Experience working within rail
