EC&I Engineer  - The Role:
- Take part in the tendering process – review specifications, create deviation lists and negotiating scope of supply
- Configure and develop PLC & SCADA software for a wide variety of applications
- Complete electrical design for cabling, field power cabling, instrumentation configuration with some electrical schematic design
- Create the BOM – Instrument fittings, glands, cables, cable trays etc.
- Understand contracts with respect to the electrical and instrumentation scope of supply for process automation projects - primarily Water and FMCG
- Prepare P&ID to company and customer requirements
- Complete engineering documents such as instrument lists, IO list, cable list, interconnection diagram
- Compile FAT & SAT documents

EC&I Engineer - The Person:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar industry
- Electrical Design experience – ideally in AutoCad
- Self-motivated and willing to be flexible with travel
- Ideally have previously worked in a similar role within a systems integration environment
- Any experience of WIMES for the water sector highly advantageous
- MUST be an experienced person for this role

This position will involve c30% travel across the UK with occasional overnights. You will travel out to customers to take client specifications, and then return to support with test & commissioning. All expenses are covered and mileage paid at the top government rate.
