Randstad Education are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant specialising in SEMH for a long-term role based in Chester. Experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to a child with SEMH needs.
- Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to develop and deliver individualised support plans.
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment where the child can thrive.
- Encouraging and supporting the child's academic and personal development.
- Communicating effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant experience
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH/SEN
- Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (preferred, but not essential)
- Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
