This role combines office-based projects with hands-on practical laboratory delivery and customer focused activities.What you'll need:You'll have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of cable systems including: • The design and construction of power cables, joints and terminations • The electrical field distributions in cables, joints and terminations and methods used to control electrical field distributions • Common failure mode related to cables, joints and terminations.• Partial discharge and its significance in the ageing and failure of cable systems.We appreciate your CV may not be up to date.
