Supported by a much wider team in this role, you will have the backing of a Building Services Design Consultancy who have three offices and have established themselves as the go to consultants for all of their clients on the strength of the quality of work that they produce. Their work comes from multiple streams which includes frameworks, architects, contractors and client side, the bulk of the work they are doing at the moment is directly for the client and generally RIBA Stages 1-4. In terms of sectors, Residential is leading the way currently, but they also have plenty of work in Education, Local Authority, Healthcare and Commercial to name just a few sectors.
The USP of the business is that they rarely have complaints from contractors and clients, they have a thorough process that ensures the job is set off on the right note and work is checked before it leaves the business. With everything QA'd they ensure that every cog in the chain is satisfied, and the job is done to the best capability. This makes your job easier and also working life much more comfortable.
To fulfil this role in Chester, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience and knowledge of the standard Mechanical and HVAC applications including being proficient in the use of Hevacomp, IES and Autocad whilst also being capable with Revit would be a bonus but also supported by the business to help you improve as necessary.
You will need to be registered with the relevant engineering councils, e.g. CIBSE or be motivated to get that started and my client would encourage Chartership in your future whilst giving you the support needed and a dedicated mentor to guide you through that process.
