Are you ready to step up to a challenge and make a real impact? We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in the manufacturing industry. As a Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and maintenance to their facility.

Salary: £40,000

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday-Friday, 2 shift rotation 7am-3pm / 9am-5pm

Duration: Permanent

What will you be doing?

  • Taking responsibility for all shift-based activities and out-of-hours on-call and call-out activities.
  • Ensuring existing and new electrical installations meet site standards and specifications.
  • Managing small to medium-sized projects, associated tasks, and budgets.
  • Providing a broad base of engineering skills for effective technical support and maintenance of the facility.
  • Leading or participating in Facilities, Engineering, and EHS activities and PM strategies and schedules.
  • Identifying, justifying, and managing facilities and process improvement projects to improve the performance of facilities-based equipment and deliver cost savings.
  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in maintenance and installation of a broad range of services and facilities within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Ability to analyse technical problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Experience of effective communication skills in verbal and written formats.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of maintenance/technical support of diverse manufacturing processes.
