Role: Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer
Salary: 35K-50K

A Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer opportunity has come available in Chester to be office-based focussing on technical delivery and project management of brownfield developments projects.

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be sat within a team of 8 delivering both geo-environmental and geotechnical GI consultancy projects from inception through to completion.

The Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer position may offer up some site work but would mainly surround technical delivery and client management. Reporting includes:

Geo-Environmental - desk study, ground investigation, land contamination assessments, remediation strategies, earthworks specifications, foundation land quality statements and validation reports

Geotechnical - Phase 1, interpretation, basic foundation design, calculations, bearing capacity, settlements, earthworks etc.

Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer Specification:

  • Degree in Geology or Environmental Science whilst having obtained an MSc in contamination, environmental/biochemistry.
  • At least 5 years UK consultancy Ground Engineering experience across site investigation projects.
  • Competent writing and reviewing technical reports across geo-environmental and/or geotechnical engineering.
  • UK Driving license
