Here at Watkin Jones, we are looking to appoint a talented PA for a period of 5 months to cover a sabbatical.

Supporting two Directors, the main remit of this role will include providing daily diary management, with the awareness that plans can change significantly at potential very short notice, as well as travel, accommodation, and expenses. As a PA you'll also be responsible for the Director's administration which includes compiling and preparing reports, attending meetings and taking minutes, creating presentations and managing correspondence.

The role will be based at our Chester office but will require travel to the Bangor office (eligible for expenses) so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. The role offers the flexibility to work from home at times.

About you

This is a varied role encompassing a broad range of administrative tasks. You’ll be working with a very busy area of the Watkin Jones business where you’ll be sharing learning and good practice with colleagues to drive continuous improvement so strong communications skills (written and verbal) are essential. You will need to be an excellent team player and flexible to the needs of the business with a high level of IT literacy. It’s important that you have the drive to succeed and finish tasks and can adapt your communication style dependant on the audience.

To apply for this role you'll need to demonstrate excellent MS office skills (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.) and be comfortable using in-house / bespoke IT systems.
