Description
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
- Reviewing and preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Contributing to the development of the firm's tax strategy.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and improvement.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts & Tax Manager' should have:
- A qualification in Accounting or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to speak with and advise clients.
- Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation.
- Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential.
- Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
