NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Accountancy firm based in Chester to secure an Accounts Senior. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.People have previously described this business as career-defining.   • Serve as the primary contact for your own client portfolio.
  • Prepare financial statements, year-end accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist clients in building profitable and successful businesses.
  • Help clients interpret accounting data and provide innovative solutions.
  • Promote the benefits of cloud products, particularly Xero, and contribute to the development of cloud-based services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team and other team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Substantial experience in a UK professional firm, including statutory and management accounts, VAT, and bookkeeping (Xero and Sage).
  • Qualified AAT or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
