We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Manager who will spearhead the financial health of our thriving industrial manufacturing company based in Chester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships.

Description

  • Oversee the purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
  • Assist in company-wide budgetary planning
  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation
  • Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
  • Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk to the company
  • Work with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Strong aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
  • Experience within the manufacturing/industrial industry preferred but not essential
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
