- Lead financial management for Technical Services and Projects as a key business partner.
- Work with colleagues on financial and commercial matters.
- Update financial forecasts, including estimates to complete and estimates at completion.
- Analyse and challenge financial performance.
- Oversee the sales order and invoicing process, ensuring alignment with customer finance teams.
- Maintain and improve SAP workflows in collaboration with Group Finance.
- Translate sales orders into budgets and secure data for customer invoicing.
- Set up and manage financial reporting in line with group guidelines.
- Conduct monthly closures, including Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting and margin analysis.
- Monitor bought-in services (e.g., time writing) to ensure accurate customer charges.
- Provide financial impact assessments of risks
- A degree in a relevant field or a professional financial qualification (preferably CIMA or ACMA).
- Post-CIMA qualification experience in a project finance controlling role.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards and the requirements of the Companies Act.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence and implement change.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, particularly in multicultural and multifunctional environments.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to travel as needed.
