Role: Sr. Program Manager/ Delivery Manager / Project manager (Payments)

Location: Chester (3 Days week Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Status: Inside IR35

Rate: Circa £700/Day

This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function.

include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical horizontal applications impacted in Global Payments initiatives, analysing the business capability being built in these applications, bringing out the global commonalities and dependencies across the portfolio and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Strong business analytical skills within depth knowledge of Payments domain are essential.
  • Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, adaptation, and conflict-management skills
  • Establishes the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and leaders and interact with senior Stakeholder.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization.
  • Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies / techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables for FX program which requires engagement from teams across multiple organizations.
  • Communicates the target outcomes, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides visibility into the health of the program.
  • Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, cost.
  • Manages financials for the program, assist with resource planning, and facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.
  • Establishes and builds relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk.
  • Coordinates and facilitates the program routines - e.g., kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
  • Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations.
  • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline.
  • Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal.
  • Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Ensures the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards.
  • Tracks the success metrics and reviews performance with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manages the financials and assists with resource planning for the program.
  • Provides input to define/improve the Change Management process for the Portfolio.
