About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Food Handler to join our dynamic team at Cheshire Oaks. This role involves serving customers with high-quality hot food and desserts in a fast-paced environment, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Handling:
    • Prepare and handle hot food and desserts according to hygiene and safety standards.
    • Operate kitchen equipment and assist in restocking ingredients and supplies.
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while addressing customer queries.
    • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations (including allergen awareness).
    • Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
    • Support colleagues with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year in food handling and preparation.
    • Customer service experience in a hospitality or retail setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
