Randstad Education are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEND Practitioner for a permanent opportunity in a Chester-based nursery. The role is 10 hours per week and would start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years
  • Supporting the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room
  • Ensuring the room and resources are safe and appropriate for children, staff and others
  • Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Develop positive relationships with parents and carers to increase involvement in their children's development
  • Act as a key person for children, inclduing completing observations, assesments, and planning for individual children

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Experience working in a nursery or similar environment
