Job Title: Behaviour Buddy Location: Chester
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Buddy to join a school in Chester. This role involves supporting students who face challenges with behavior, helping them to develop positive strategies, and promoting a constructive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support and implement behaviour plans.
- Monitor, record, and report on behaviours.
- Assist in de-escalating crises and managing challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate with staff on behaviour strategies.
- Encourage positive social skills and behaviours.
- Maintain confidentiality and participate in training.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenges
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
