We’re looking for a Day Operator within our Enrichment plant. Based at our Capenhurst site, you’ll work as part of a flexible team, supporting tasks specific to the delivery of operational KPIs that ensure targeted outputs are achieved. As an Operator 1 within the Enrichment Operations team, you will work with natural, enriched and depleted uranium to meet customer demands.

What you’ll do:
- Understand and carry out tasks in line with approved procedures to ensure they are performed safely and in a consistent way.
- Understand and carry out activities identified in competency framework that support efficient running of the facility.
- Transport, install and connect specified cylinders to ensure sufficient availability of stations to continue plant operations
- Commission, decommission and disconnect stations to ensure sufficient plant capacity is maintained.
- Be an active participant to promote Zero Harm initiatives and thereby maintain a safe, reliable and secure working environment
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Process/Craft apprentice or equivalent process plant operating experience
- Ability to interpret and follow written procedures
- Fault finding and trouble shooting
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe operating conditions.
- IT literate to support use of Microsoft applications, SAP and other bespoke plant software
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team
- Demonstrate ability to learn new skills
