The Opportunity:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful Wealth Management business. The new role will be to join their successful, busy Paraplanning Team, providing support to the Advisor team and the wider practice when advising clients on financial strategies, plans, products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing high quality support to the advisor team

Preparing suitability letters and reports

Research and analyse financial products to meet Client requirements and objectives

Analysing clients requirements, data and understanding the desired outcome

Accurately recording client data

Ensuring advisor and clients are updated throughout complete process

Work within and stay up to date with template changes and advice notes

Ensure that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally

Person Specification:

Depending on whether trainee or part qualified or experienced:

Minimum of 2 years experience in Paraplanning role within an IFA or Wealth Management environment

Experience of the pension transfer market

Experience of the administration of IHT and/or Investment products

Professional; ability to interact well with Clients, colleagues and providers

High level of accuracy and analytical skills

Highly organised

Demonstrates taking initiative

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent IT Skills

Approaches work positively with a can-do attitude and take responsibility for own tasks

Works well as an individual and as part of a large team

Open to change with a creative approach to problem solving
